Croatian President Zoran Milanović has proposed establishing an annual 'Week of Croats Abroad', a move aimed at promoting cultural exchange and understanding among the Croatian diaspora community spread across Europe, North America, Australia, and other parts of the world. The initiative was announced on February 12, 2026.
