Bulgaria Ratifies Agreement on Construction of Cross-border Railway Tunnel with North Macedonia

In a significant move towards regional cooperation and economic integration, Bulgaria's National Assembly has ratified an agreement to construct a cross-border railway tunnel with North Macedonia. The 2.4 km long tunnel will connect the cities of Sofia and Skopje as part of Corridor VIII, a major transportation route between Europe and Asia.
